My process usually starts with rough pencil sketches sent by e-mail.

Then we discuss what needs tweaking and what doesn’t until I get the go ahead to do the finished art.

My regular rate is $ 40 an hour, with a three hour minimum.

I charge a "kill fee" for jobs terminated by the client after work has been done but before delivery of final art, equal to 50% of the negotiated amount.

I find it necessary to require an up front payment of 25% of the negotiated price before I can begin work.

In any case,  my charges are in line with current practices in the trade.

Now, i f you happen to be in a band that doesn't suck and are financially destitute, I'm down

with doing Flyers, t-shirt designs, album covers, or whatever for free.
